Every year the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna conducts Class 10th examinations in the month of February and March. This year, due to the upcoming elections which will take place in April/May 2019, it is expected that the board will conduct the examinations earlier as compared to last year. BSEB 10th Date Sheet 2019 was declared on 23rd December 2018. BSEB Class 10 examinations for the academic year 2018-19 are scheduled to begin on 21st February and end on 29th March 2019. Last year. the class 10th examinations were conducted from 5th March to 4th April 2018. BSEB Class 10th Results were declared on 29th May 2018. It is expected that BSEB will either prepone or postpone the Class 10th results due to the upcoming elections which are scheduled to take place in the month of April/May 2019.
In 2018, around 16,38,464 students had registered Class 10 examinations which were held in the month of March and April 2018. Out of the total 16,25,967 appeared for the exams. 17,567 schools participated and students took the exams across 4,460 exam centres. BSEB Class 10th Result recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.70%. Girls have scored better than boys and have achieved a pass percentage of 88.67% whereas boys pass percentage stood at 85.32%.
The overall pass percentage has been declining every year. Over the last 5 years, the overall pass percentage has fallen from 98.87% to 86.70%.

Every year students are always curious about their results after appearing for the exams. BSEB publishes an official notification a few days before declaring the results. But students can estimate the result date looking at the previous year result dates. BSEB usually declares BSEB class 10th results in the month of May. According to previous patterns, it is expected that this year too, BSEB will announce BSEB 10th Results 2019 in May 2019
